Doctor Who: Upstairs and The Dark Planet Out Now
Two more Doctor Who stories are available now to round out the week in what we're calling Maureen O'Brien Day! Latest Companion Chronicle Upstairs and the first of our final series of Lost Stories, The Dark Planet are out now.
Doctor Who - The Companion Chronicles: Upstairs by Mat Coward features the long-awaited return of Maureen O'Brien to the range (she was last heard in The Suffering), recreating her role as Vicki. She's ably supported by Peter Purves as Steven in a story that finds the TARDIS landing in the very familiar environs of Prime Ministerial home 10 Downing Street, but the First Doctor, Vicki and Steven quickly learn that all is not as it appears...
Doctor Who - The Lost Stories: The Dark Planet begins the final series of four Lost Stories with today's second First Doctor-era tale. Maureen O'Brien makes up for lost time with her second story this month, with William Russell also on board as Ian as the TARDIS travellers find themselves caught in the middle of a war. From a story by Brian Hayles, it's adapted by Matt Fitton.
Both Upstairs and The Dark Planet are available for download now, and CDs will be posted out today.
