The clever, funny, challenging script by John Richards really captures the Doctor’s tenure at St Luke’s perfectly. And since it’s presented in the form of a podcast reluctantly recorded by the Twelfth Doctor, it was essential to capture his specific rhythms of speech — which John does. Add to that the magical performance of Jake as the Doctor and you have a truly bonkers tale that’s Twelfth Doctor through and through.”
