The Listeners' title for October - Dark Shadows: Speak No Evil
A chilling and spooky tale for Halloween, pick up this Dark Shadows tale starring Arthur Darvill (Rory: Doctor Who) for £2.99 on download.
This Dark Shadows tale is sure to delight and terrify you for the whole of October!
Tad Collins, a man haunted by an unhappy childhood, is rich, arrogant and so terribly lonely.
Marie Olson, the tattooed lady, is haunted by a past that she has tried to escape.
Naturally, they hate each other.
But when a mysterious and sinister clown breaks into Collinwood to steal a book on the occult, Tad and Marie have to work together.
They don't realise, though, that the clown has plans for them both…
“It's very much a standalone story,” says co-producer Joseph Lidster, “it's more like an episode of Tales of the Unexpected really. A rich young man visits a circus and... well, to say any more would spoil it. Let's just say that nothing is as it seems.”
Dark Shadows: Speak No Evil is available for the whole of October at £2.99 on download.
We had a manic week filled with Short Trips goodies in the recent Big Finish roundup. At the time of writing we still have a number of special offers on downloads in the Short Trips and Short Trips Rarities ranges. Read all about them here.
There was also the release of A Heart on Both Sides, the latest tale in the Short Trips range, starring Sarah Sutton as Nyssa. And we announced two new Short Trips coming out in March, starring Camille Coduri as Jackie Tyler and TV movie companion Yee Jee Tso for an Eighth Doctor adventure.
The Captain Scarlet 50th Anniversary Limited Edition box set has now been released along with the three Spectrum Files. The 29th of September marked 50 years since Captain Scarlet was first broadcast on our TV screens, and Big Finish is honoured to continue the adventures of Spectrum in the 21st century. We also celebrated the 50th anniversary of The Prisoner, which shares an anniversary with Captain Scarlet (and the birthday of Big Finish chief, Nicholas Briggs!).
Available on podcast, this week Nicholas Briggs and Benji Clifford chatted with Jemma Powell (who plays Barbara Wright in the upcoming First Doctor Adventures) and Toby Hadoke talks with Peter Howell.
We also looked at several Doctor Who crossover stories on Monday as well, which is your favourite?
