Coming in January 2014, The Avengers - The Lost Episodes: Volume 1 begins Big Finish's recreation of the first series of Avengers episodes which were wiped after this original Sixties transmission. Little remains of this opening run, but working from the original scripts, these stories are brought to life once again on audio.
Starring Anthony Howell and Julian Wadham as Keel and Steed, the first box set contains the stories Hot Snow, Brought to Book, Square Root of Evil and One for the Mortuary recreated as full cast dramas, with guest stars including Colin Baker and Sophie Aldred (Doctor Who), Tim Bentinck (The Archers), Blake Ritson (Da Vinci's Demons) and Terry Molloy (The Archers and Doctor Who's Davros).
The box set will be available as a CD and download in January 2014 and can be pre-ordered now.
