Doctor Who actor Peter Purves - The First Doctor's companion Steven Taylor in 1965 and 1966 - has recently been in studio for Big Finish's latest range of Doctor Who stories...

Photographed recently in studio is Peter Purves, during recording on two First Doctor stories in the new Doctor Who: Short Trips Monthly range coming in January from Big Finish.

Dale Smith's Flywheel Revolution and Nick Wallace's Etheria are adventures with the First Doctor, short stories read - as with the rest of the range - by actors with a particular connection to the Doctor Who of each period.

Keep watching over coming months for more news on this range, but in the mean time we're happy to confirm the titles of two Second Doctor stores: Little Doctors by Philip Lawrence, and The Way of the Empty Hand by Julian Richards.

Invididual titles are available as Downloads on pre-order for £2.99, while 12 episodes can be bought in a download subscription for £30.
