This full-cast audio drama follows the Office of the Night – the vampires tasked with enforcing the laws of their kind. Leading the beat is the imperious, thousand-year-old Catrin, voiced by Juliet Landau (known as Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Drusilla, as well as an incarnation of Time Lady Romana for Big Finish). 

By her side are new human liaison Jane (Mara Wilson – Matilda, Mrs Doubtfire) and neurotic younger vampire Magnus (Alimi Ballard – Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Numb3rs). And, Warren Brown (Luther, Doctor Who: Praxeus) plays Orhan, an important man in Jane’s life.

Party All Night 

Vampire Circuit Parties? Someone’s set up a series of tasting clubs at which vampires massacre unsuspecting human invitees. Magnus and Catrin must stop this before the craze goes viral. It's Jane’s first day as human liaison to the Office of the Night and it may well be her last. 

Blood Bank 

Some vampires choose not to kill for blood – they prefer to have it supplied. It’s a lifestyle choice. There’s a thriving red market in liquid gold. 

But the vampires running the Red Market are worried – something’s contaminating the blood – a contaminant that for some is a drug and for others is lethal. If the Red Market falls, then their customers are suddenly going to get very hungry. 

Under the Sun 

A vampire cult has sprung up allowing vampires the ultimate cure – the ability to walk in the sun. Catrin and Magnus are worried. Is the cult a trick, or will it change the way that vampires feed, unleashing terror on the world? 

The box set’s guest cast includes Ali Bastian, Jim Caesar, Lauren Cornelius, Jon Culshaw, Helen Goldwyn, Dev Joshi, Jade Matthew, Mathew McQuinn, Caroline O'Hara, David O'Mahony, Robert Rackstraw, John Schwab, and Lizzie Worsdell. 

Lead actor and associate producer Juliet Landau said: “Vam PD is a completely unique universe. It’s not like anything I’ve read before. The three main characters are so distinct. The world is wickedly funny. Genre fans, Buffy fans, Big Finish fans and really any listener who thrives on great material will love Vam PD.” 

Her co-star Mara Wilson added: “My first reaction to getting the Vam PD script was, finally, I get to play a vampire. I've wanted to play a vampire for a very long time now. And then I actually read the part of Jane and realised that I was the only one who was not a vampire! 

“But honestly, being Jane has been so much fun. She is a wonderful straight man to Catrin and to Magnus, and is very, very layered – I was pleasantly surprised by how funny she was, how intelligent she was, and how there is a bit of a darkness to her as well. I knew immediately when I got the script, this was something that I wanted to be a part of.”
