Doctor Who vs London 2020!
A brand-new era in the Eighth Doctor’s timeline begins today, as the TARDIS team find themselves marooned in 21st century London.
He’s fought Daleks, the Ravenous and the Weeping Angels; now how will he cope with the domestic hell of having neighbours?
Paul McGann stars as the Doctor, alongside Hattie Morahan (Helen Sinclair), Nicola Walker (Liv Chenka), Rebecca Root (Tania Bell), Tom Price (Sergeant Andy Davidson), Clive Wood (Mr Bird) and Tom Baker (the Curator).
They are joined by a terrific cast of guest stars, including Big Finish newcomers Avita Jay and Amina Zia as the Ahktar sisters, and David Shaw-Parker and Jeremy Clyde as Ron and Tony.
And, making his Doctor Who debut at Big Finish, playing Robin, is Joel James Davison, son of legendary Fifth Doctor actor Peter Davison.
Doctor Who: Stranded 1 is now available to own HERE as a collector’s edition CD box set (priced at £24.99), or on download (at £19.99).
The TARDIS is gone. Stranded in one time and place, the Doctor, Liv and Helen seek refuge in Baker Street. But the house has changed: they now have neighbours – not all of them welcoming. And someone has a dire warning for the future.
The Doctor and friends face their greatest challenge yet: living one day after another, in 2020 London.
Producer David Richardson added: “We’d always intended Doctor Who: Stranded to be focused on characters, and what’s been lovely is that as we got underway, and saw these characters and actors inter-relating, it made us realise the endless possibilities we have to play with.
“The dynamics are wonderful - for example, you can just pop Liv and Andy into a scene and let them talk, and it’s golden. And beyond our main team of five, there’s also the extended family who live at Baker Street - like Ron and Tony, who have been together for decades, and have a secret of their own; sisters Aisha and Zakia, whose lives will be changed forever by the time travellers; young Robin, continually abandoned by his work-addicted dad, who will befriend Helen.
“The more we explored this large ensemble, the more excited we got - we’ve found, I think, a very different way of telling Doctor Who stories.”
Doctor Who: Stranded 1 contains four brilliant stories:

Liv has found a new friend, but Helen is worried about the Doctor.
And when a tragic crime takes place, the Time Lord must learn the limits of his powers.
Must-See TV by Lisa McMullin
There are new arrivals in Baker Street: Sergeant Andy Davidson, and the helpful Mr Bird.
