Doctor Who - Short Trips: The Jago & Litefoot Revival!
Corks! To celebrate a very special anniversary, there's a very special Doctor Who release!
Forty years ago this very evening, a Victorian theatrical impressario knocked on the door of a London pathologist, and formed one of Doctor Who's most endearing double-acts. Big Finish are celebrating this Talons of Weng-Chiang partnership all weekend with special offers on their adventures: but for the anniversary day itself, are delighted to announce the release of Doctor Who - Short Trips: The Jago & Litefoot Revival Act One, bringing together Christopher Benjamin and Trevor Baxter for the Short Trips range's first two-reader story:
Tonight's lecture to the Club For Curious Scientific Men will be given by Professor George Litefoot, pathologist - assisted by his esteemed colleague Mr Henry Gordon Jago, theatrical impressario - who will recount a sequence of outlandish events in London and Greece, ruminate upon the nature of good fortune (or rather its absence), and provide a surprising account of a mercurial old friend. The lecture starts at 7:30 and will include an interval.
Doctor Who - Short Trips: The Jago & Litefoot Revival Act One can be bought right now for just £2.99 - or as part of all 12 of this year's Doctor Who - Short Trips in a Subscription for just £30. Bundles containing all of 2015 and 2016's Short Trips stories can be found here, also for £30 each. These download-titles are just perfect for downloading and playing on the free Big Finish app for Android and Apple devices.
Fans of the Infernal Investigators, curious about their first adventure after the Doctor, can still check out Doctor Who - The Companion Chronicles: The Mahogany Murderers as our Listeners title this month. It's just £2.99 on Download.
