Spinning off from the popular Doctor Who – The Audio Novels range comes The Audio Novellas, an original series of shorter-length audiobook adventures featuring Doctors and companions from across the TV show’s long history.  

Each volume will contain two dynamic and exciting 120-minute adventures, narrated by celebrated Doctor Who actors and with sound effects and music to create fully immersive productions. 

The Audio Novellas begins in January 2026 with The Time-Splitters, a story following the First Doctor, Steven and Dodo, and Dimension 13, which features the Third Doctor, Liz Shaw and the Brigadier. 

These two stories are narrated respectively by legendary actor Peter Purves, who played Steven Taylor on Doctor Who from 1965 to 1966, and impressionist Jon Culshaw, now known to Big Finish listeners as the voice of the Brigadier and many other characters.
