Shakespeare's Hamlet is an August release for our Big Finish Classics range, starring Alexander Vlahos (The Confessions of Dorian Gray, BBC's Versailles) and directed by Scott Handcock. Today the trailer and cover have been unveiled for a full-cast production co-starring Miles Richardson, Terry Molloy and Tracey Childs:

Following the death of his father, the King of Denmark, young prince Hamlet returns home to find his mother married to his uncle: the late king’s brother, Claudius.

When he is later visited by the ghost of his own dead father, Hamlet learns how he was actually murdered by his own brother, and vows to take revenge. However, Hamlet’s contemplative nature works against him, breeding doubt and hesitation at every turn, until the only certainties he has left are madness, betrayal and murder…
