Churchill Meets Madame Vastra!
In February 2018, the Doctor's friend and renowned British Prime Minister Winston Churchill is joined by another friend of the Time Lord...
Today we have a release date for Doctor Who - The Churchill Years Volume 2, as well as some exciting guest cast news. With the February release of this title confirmed, Ian McNeice's Winston Churchill is joined by Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh) for the first story, Young Winston!
Producer David Richardson comments: "Of course we’ve worked with Neve before at Big Finish, on UNIT and Survivors, but this is the first time she has played the wonderful Madame Vastra for us. Steven Moffat kindly gave his blessing for us to use the character in this Churchill box set, and here she is - meeting Winston Churchill when he was just 21 years old, in the year 1895. How brilliant to be able to bring these two together for the first time!"
The four new stories are Young Winston by Paul Morris, Human Conflict by Iain McLaughlin, I Was Churchill's Double by Alan Barnes and Churchill Victorious by Robert Khan and Tom Salinsky, with full details on the webpage.
