Toby Hadoke returns with the first instalment of a trilogy of Who's Rounds featuring a writer from the Sylvester McCoy era of Doctor Who.

Toby talks to a writer with whom he shares some educational history - both went to Manchester University, as did Sophie Aldred, and so they convene in a major arts venue in that fine city to discuss the state of Doctor Who back in 1987, and scripts which were influenced by the cinematic greats.
