Tim Treloar and Katy Manning return to play the Third Doctor and Jo Grant, with Rufus Hound reprising the Meddling Monk. Rufus has previously played the role in The Early Adventures: The Black Hole, Doom Coalition 4 and two Short Trips – The Blame Game and How to Win Planets and Influence People.

The Rise of the New Humans by Guy Adams will be the first of two adventures in The Third Doctor Adventures Volume Four. Investigating a mysterious death, the Doctor and Jo are drawn to a research facility on Dartmoor called the Allingham Institute. What developments has Dr Kurdi pioneered? And who is the Chief Administrator?

Producer David Richardson tells us what to expect from this next chapter of adventures for the Third Doctor: “Volume Four is something of a real fan pleaser, I think.
