The Third Doctor and the Cybermen!
A story that Doctor Who fans have been asking for since 1974†¦ the Third Doctor will face the Cybermen in the The Third Doctor Adventures Volume Four.
Recording is now finished on the latest volume of The Third Doctor Adventures, and the second tale is set to be an unforgettable adventure as the Cybermen make their Third Doctor debut in The Tyrants of Logic by Marc Platt. Marc has written many other fantastic Cyberman stories for Big Finish including The Silver Turk starring Paul McGann and Spare Parts with Peter Davison – currently available for 99p.
“Who better than Marc to write the first full-cast Third Doctor adventure to feature the Cybermen?” says producer David Richardson. “I love this script which takes the Doctor and Jo Grant to Burnt Salt, a planet that is well past its glory days and about to fall prey to the Cyber threat. And we have a really lovely guest cast including Jeff Rawle, Linda Marlowe and Carolyn Pickles.”
And the first story in this box set, The Rise of the New Humans by Guy Adams, features the Meddling Monk played by Rufus Hound.
The Doctor and Jo are drawn to the Allingham Institute on Dartmoor to investigate a mysterious death. What developments has Dr Kurdi pioneered? And who is the Chief Administrator?
The Third Doctor Adventures Volume Four is available for pre-order at £25 on CD or £20 on download and will be released in March 2018. Don’t forget that all CD purchases unlock a download exclusive from the Big Finish website, or via the Big Finish App.
