When the Doctor and Leela are chased through the countryside by a headless knight, it’s only the start of their problems. Because they are in the grounds of Hellwood Manor – the first safari park for ghosts! 

Mistaken for parapsychical investigators, the TARDIS team are shown the mysterious ‘ghost catcher’ device that’s made the whole scheme possible. 

But it can’t really be catching ghosts, can it? What’s really happening in Hellwood?

The Hellwood Inheritance guest stars Tamzin Outhwaite (New Tricks, Doctor Who: Nightmare in Silver) as Joan Stone, a parapsychologist’s assistant. For her, this was a reunion with Louise Jameson, with whom she starred in EastEnders. 

Outhwaite said: “Louise was always a lovely face to see at work, as well as a Doctor Who legend. So I've always been a big fan and it was a treat to see her name on the cast list, as well as Tom Baker – the Doctor I remember very well from being a young kid.” 

Louise Jameson added: “Tamzin is a fantastic team player and extremely talented actor. I adored working with her.”
