Out on Tuesday was the opening chapter of Restoration, a new series of Blake’s 7 adventures. Paul Darrow, Jan Chappell, Michael Keating and Steven Pacey all return to their roles from the classic TV series, while Alistair Lock provides the voices of computers Orac and Zen, and Yasmin Bannerman plays the role of Dayna.

Also released on Tuesday was the novel, eBook and audiobook Blake’s 7 – Uprising, written by Christopher Cooper and narrated by Stephen Grief.

Blake persuades the Liberator crew to join an uprising on the planet Istria, a vital supplier of food to the Federation. He hopes to hit the Federation where it hurts – and send a powerful message of unity to rebel groups everywhere. As announced on Monday, Sir Derek Jacobi will reprise the role of the War Master opposite Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor in the third series of The War Master audio adventures made in association with BBC Studios.

We were delighted to discover this week that ATA Girl has been nominated for the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2019 in the Best Podcast or Online Audio Drama category.

The series is a dramatization based on the lives of the Air Transport Auxiliary, the brave female pilots who helped move planes across the country. They were also the first women in the country to earn equal pay, alongside their male counterparts.

The final details were confirmed on Saturday for our new trilogy kicking off this year’s Doctor Who Main Range releases. The Fifth Doctor, Tegan and Turlough are joined in a Big Finish first by Kamelion, played by legendary impressionist Jon Culshaw.

The Fifth Doctor returns to the Main Range this month, and he’s joined by a companion who many thought long gone. Kamelion, the robot who could change shape, was set to be one of the most exciting companions of the 1980s. Operated by computer technology on the studio floor, it was a television production first, however, the opportunity was cut short by the tragic death of its operator, Mike Power.

But now Kamelion is back! This unexplored chapter of Doctor Who history will be uncovered in three new releases starting this month with Devil in the Mist by Cavan Scott.
