Big Finish Productions in association with ITV Studios Global Entertainment (ITVS GE) today proudly announces a range of very special audio releases to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons – Gerry Anderson’s 1967 Supermarionation series. The production company and publisher, best known for their audio adaptations of cult hits like Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Prisoner and Terrahawks, is set to produce four Captain Scarlet releases for September 2017.

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons - 50th Anniversary Box set:

• A seven-disc collector's limited edition deluxe box set
• Five digitally remastered full-cast audio-only stories from 1967
• Eight classic TV stories with special linking material by Ed Bishop (Captain Blue)
• Music from the series
• A brand new 60-minute audio documentary examining the history of this cult TV show
• Lavish full-colour packaging, featuring a Spectrum Agents Briefing booklet containing rare archive imagery, Spectrum Personnel Files, production information and more
• Can be pre-ordered from now for £35 on Download and £45 on CD, these pre-release prices being held until the set's general release at the end of October when they become £40 and £50 respectively.

Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons - The Spectrum Files:

• Three four-CD audiobook releases of three original 1960s Captain Scarlet Spectrum File novels by John Theydon
• Can be pre-ordered from now for £14.99 on Download, £16.99 on CD, or bought in Captain Scarlet - Spectrum Files bundles of all three for £30 and £35 respectively (going up to £35 and £40 on general release).

All of these classic Captain Scarlet stories will be released for the 50th anniversary of the show’s first transmission on 29th September 2017, and will be produced by Jamie Anderson of Anderson Entertainment, who says:
