Ahead of her appearance in next month’s anthology release - The Worlds of Big Finish - Big Finish Productions is pleased to reveal that trans-temporal adventuress Iris Wildthyme will be returning for Iris Wildthyme: Wildthyme Reloaded, a brand-new series of audio adventures in August!

And she's larger than life and daft as a brush and drunk as a skunk and just spoiling for a big new series of Big Finish adventures... and how great is that? The new series consists of eight, thirty-minute episodes, pitting Iris against extraterrestrial werewolves, ancient oracles, haunted planets… and even the dreaded Scorchies!

Big Finish veteran Geoffrey Breton joins the series as Iris’s new companion, Captain Turner, who first featured in the short story Old Flames - written by Paul Magrs, who also contributes the final episode of the series. Other writers include James Goss, Nick Campbell, Roy Gill, Mark B. Oliver, Hamish Steele, Cavan Scott and Scott Handcock.

Chris Rankin (Harry Potter’s Percy Weasley), David Warner (Inside No. 9, The Omen, Time Bandits), Nicola Bryant (Doctor Who’s Peri Brown) and Tracey Childs (Howard’s Way, Big Finish's Doctor Who companion Klein) guest star, alongside Big Finish regulars Toby Longworth, Ian Hallard, Charlie Hayes, Lisa Bowerman, Stephen Fewell, Lizzie Hopley and David Blackwell.

Iris Wildthyme: Wildthyme Reloaded will be released in August 2015 and is available to pre-order now at the special discount price of £20 on CD, or £18 on Download.
