The iconic show’s story was never resolved, but finally continues today, with brand-new characters entering The Time Tunnel… 

In 1979, 20 years after it was set up, Project Tic-Toc was shut down by the American authorities. All hope of retrieving scientists Tony Newman and Doug Phillips, who were lost in the Time Tunnel during 1968, has been abandoned. 

But in 2025, four people are brought together by a need to reopen the Arizona base and reactivate the Time Tunnel in secret. From there they must try to find Doug or Tony, because something they have done in the past has changed the present. And not changed it for the better... the world is now under the power of Rakervia... 

Produced and script-edited by Gary Russell, the audio revival follows a disparate team of four – British naval officer Captain Lewis Haworth (Seán Carlsen), young hacker MB (Safiyya Ingar), dark web operative Cole Smith (Jay Reum), and marine biologist Clare MacGregor (Rachel Handshaw). 

Thrown together when they find themselves in a changed world, these heroes must work together to travel through time and put the world back on track. In the first volume of stories, available now, they search for time travellers from the 1960s, investigate the disappearance of Amy Johnson, and face danger in the midst of the English Civil War.
