The special four-story set provides an emotional ending for Colin Baker's Sixth Doctor, and it will now be released a week today, ahead of the original September release date. Big Finish customers will therefore hear Doctor Who: The Sixth Doctor- The Last Adventure a full six weeks before it's available elsewhere.

This eagerly awaited box-set chronicles the Doctor's ultimate battle against the Valeyard (Michael Jayston), the malevolent distillation of the Doctor's negative impulses. The four adventures involve a commuter train that has lost its way, a werewolf-infested town on an alien world, strange events on the stage of the New Regency theatre in Victorian London and the space station where their rivalry began in 1986's The Trial of a Time Lord. Joining the Doctor in battle across these four linked stories are his loyal companions Constance Clarke (Miranda Raison), Charlotte Pollard (India Fisher), Flip Jackson (Lisa Greenwood) and Mel (Bonnie Langford) - as well as those remarkable Victorian investigators Jago & Litefoot (Christopher Benjamin and Trevor Baxter) - who have recently been announced as playing host to a familiar house guest in November's Jago & Litefoot & Strax.

The deluxe limited edition contains all four stories plus a fifth disc with an extensive behind-the-scenes documentary. The sumptuous packaging includes notes from Colin Baker, producer David Richardson and the writers, plus a wealth of exclusive photography from the studio, and art by Tom Webster. Colin will be appearing at Big Finish Day 7 to help celebrate his Doctor's last adventure.
