Doctor Who Ravenous 3 is unleashed!
The Eighth Doctor goes head to head with the Ravenous – and he’s going to need all the help he can get. Paul McGann is joined by Nicola Walker, Hattie Morahan, Alex Kingston, Rakhee Thakrar and India Fisher in the latest Eighth Doctor box set.
Ravenous 3 is out now.
On a distant research station, the Time Lords are playing with fire. But it isn’t only mythological creatures from Time Lord legend that are coming back to life. Fighting for their lives against terrifying creatures from the folklore of many worlds, as well as escaping the clutches of more familiar foes, the Doctor, Liv and Helen find themselves making the most unlikely ally.
David Richardson, producer of the Eighth Doctor saga Ravenous, told last month’s Vortex magazine what to expect: “It’s a story packed with Easter Eggs and a perfect fit for our 20th anniversary celebrations. I’ve heard a rough assembly of one key sequence and it’s brought the BIGGEST smile to my face.”
And India Fisher told us what it was like reprising her role as Charlotte Pollard (the first Eighth Doctor companion at Big Finish) and recording with future companions: “Working with the likes of Alex Kingston, Nicola Walker and Hattie Morahan, you’ve got to raise your game! We had a blast as they’re all extremely lovely women, as was the disarmingly stunning Rakhee Thakrar. I kept thinking of Sean Connery’s line when they told me her character name was Bliss, ‘Of course it is!’”
Ravenous 3 is available now at the pre-order discounted price of £22.99 on CD or £19.99 on download.
The details of the truly masterful finale of the Ravenous series, Ravenous 4 were also recently announced. Michelle Gomez, Derek Jacobi, Geoffrey Beevers and Eric Roberts all return to the role of the Master/Missy for the last release in this Eighth Doctor saga, available in October 2019.
Previous releases, Doctor Who Ravenous 1 and Ravenous 2 are both available now at £39.99 on CD or £34.99 on download.
Or why not save money and get all four volumes of Ravenous in a bundle (each available on their release), priced at £90 on CD or £80 on download.
