Based on the classic US supernatural drama, this new range of audiobooks continues on from the events of our acclaimed miniseries Dark Shadows: Bloodlust. The first release, Dark Shadows: Panic will be available soon, with a trailer available to listen to here.

But the adventures of the Collins family continue in June with Dark Shadows: The Curse of Shurafa - a preview of which has been made available today!

Cairo, the 1970s, and the city is plagued by zombies! Only three people can save the day – Doctor Julia Hoffman, her best friend the vampire Barnabas Collins and their colleague, professor of the paranormal, T. E. Stokes Years later, the vampire tells a young man about exactly what happened.

Written by new writer Rob Morris, the story stars Andrew Collins (The Bold and the Beautiful) and Scott Haran (Wizards Vs Aliens).

The series continues in July in Dark Shadows: In The Twinkling of An Eye. The story, about local landlady Jessica Griffin and a mysterious stranger called Nate, is written by new writer, Penelope Faith.

Then in August we have Dark Shadows: Deliver Us From Evil. Written by Aaron Lamont, the story sees four people discovering that they may be pawns in a terrifying game.

We can also announce the cast for September’s story. Dark Shadows: Tainted Love, by Daniel Collard, features Kathleen Cody, Stephanie Ellyne and Alec Newman as Hallie Stokes, Amy Cunningham and David Collins. The blurb, trailer and behind-the-scenes photographs for this story are now available.

The current run of stories concludes with it's landmark 50th release in October. Dark Shadows: And Red All Over by Cody Schell see the return of Kathryn Lee Scott as Maggie Haskell (nee Evans) whoes honeymoon is cut short by a terrifying encounter by a mysterious stranger... a stranger with the face of an older adversary - Burke Devlin.

Dark Shadows (1966 - 1971) was a US TV series which told the story of the cursed Collins family. Set in the town of Collinsport, it featured witches, vampires, werewolves and warlocks plotting and scheming against each other. It was recently remade as a film starring Johnny Depp.
