Launched on Friday, this weekend's Sylvester McCoy birthday selection of Doctor Who offers is still running - check it out for bargains on selected Seventh Doctor Doctor Who Main Range tales. These offers must end at noon on Monday 22nd September (UK time). Tuesday saw the release of the much-anticipated The Sacrifice of Sherlock Holmes, starring Nicholas Briggs and Richard Earl as Holmes and Watson in a four-story adventure written by Jonathan Barnes. Here's the video trailer:

Monday saw the news that some of the 2017 Doctor Who pre-orders would be going up in price from 1st September. Although still cheaper than the eventual release price, there's over a week left to make the best of incredible prices on these top-of-the-range boxed sets!

On Wednesday, we announced that the David Tennant-starring The Adventures of Luther Arkwright was at last being made available as a Download, on sale at the special price of just £5 (note: going up to £7.99 from the 1st September), or on CD separately for £9.99. Please note that (unusually for a Big Finish release), the CD purchase does not include a free download copy. Listen to the trailer below:

And we ended the week with a visit to the Sixties, and the height of cool surrealism in the company of The Avengers - Steed and Mrs Peel, with the story details and trailer for The Comic Adaptations Volume 2:
