The first trilogy in the epic audio drama event series Dark Gallifrey focuses on Morbius (Samuel West), the Time Lord tyrant of old. He was defeated in a devastating war, but after haunting the crew of the Gallifreyan ship Proteus, he’s on the rise once again. 

In the third and final instalment, Morbius has been brought back from the dead and is determined to return to power across time and space and wreak revenge on those who fought against him. It’s up to Captain Argento (Rachel Atkins) to stop his plans, but she’s got some help in the form of the Doctor (Tom Baker). 

So, a rematch is on the cards – Morbius first appeared in the 1976 Doctor Who TV story The Brain of Morbius, during which Baker’s Fourth Doctor foiled a very different attempt to resurrect the former dictator. 

This time, with Morbius having a devout cult on his side and the threat of Dark Gallifrey looming, the Doctor has his work cut out for him.

Morbius – Part Three also stars Lara Lemon as Gilda, a Sisterhood of Karn apothecary, as well as Andrew French as Veritas, Mina Anwar as Rolko, Janet Henfrey as Narrata, and Justin Avoth as the Shimmering Man.
