Big Finish listeners can now get these four nominated titles at a discounted price for a limited time only, plus selected bundle deals. (These offers expire at 23:59, UK time, on 23 June 2023.)
James Moran, writer of Doctor Who – The Eighth Doctor Adventures: Time War: Cass, said: "I’m absolutely delighted to be nominated for a Scribe Award, what a lovely surprise! This was so much fun to write and then to hear performed, it felt like I’d already won a prize. And to be nominated alongside so many brilliant Big Finish writers, who are all much more talented, is the biggest honour of all. Now, we must fight! In the arena!"
Writer of Doctor Who – The War Doctor Begins: He Who Fights With Monsters, Robert Valentine said: “It’s a lovely surprise to have He Who Fights With Monsters nominated like this. It was the War Doctor story I badly wanted to tell, and I’m hugely grateful to Matt Fitton and David Richardson for letting me go ahead and tell it.”
Roy Gill, writer of Doctor Who – The Eighth Doctor Adventures: Connections, said: “Albie’s Angels is a tale of love and family and monsters (of all kinds). It’s important to me, for all sorts of reasons. Absolutely thrilled to have made the Scribe Awards shortlist alongside some really great writers."
Doctor Who – The Fourth Doctor Adventures: The Nine writer, Lizbeth Myles said: “I'm delighted to be nominated. Peake Season was an absolute joy and a privilege to write. I'm lucky enough to be going to San Diego Comic Con this year, where the Scribe Awards ceremony takes place, so looking forward to being there in person. Congrats and best of luck to all my fellow nominees!”
