Subscriptions

On various ranges there are Subscriptions which enable people to buy a number of stories in one go at a saving (with postage free to the UK). Where these titles have already been released, then all of them will be sent on CD or made available on Download, in one go. It's a great way of easily ordering multiple releases. Where the titles are still to be released, then they will dispatched as a priority as soon as stock is available.

For the main range of Doctor Who, subscribers are eligible for PDF downloads of the scripts, extended extras downloadable as MP3s, and (from #128 onward, The Eternal Summer) four Doctor Who - Subscriber Short Trips a year.

Bundles

Bundles are similar to Subscriptions: a button on a story's page that offers a collection of titles (with free postage on CD versions), often at a saving on the stories or the postage, or both. However, unlike Subscriptions, Bundles can offer titles from different ranges in one place.

For example, a full Dark Shadows bundle collects releases from both the full-cast and audio-reading ranges. A bundle on the Doctor Who - The Fourth Doctor Adventures range collects an entire series of the stories and the Doctor Who - The Philip Hinchcliffe boxed set.

The Blake's 7 section contains bundles bringing together the Liberator Chronicles releases and some of our Blake's 7 books. Doctor Who - Dark Eyes has a number of bundles collecting the releases, based on the original pre-release prices even though now all four series are full price!

Most recently, our announcement of The Avengers - Steed and Mrs Peel included a collected bundle bringing together both impending volumes and the graphic novel.

Pre-Release Titles

All Big Finish titles have free postage for the UK from the moment they're available to pre-order, right up to when they are released. Often they also have a reduced pre-release price on both CD and Download (especially boxed sets). The postage is applied once the title is released, but we hold the pre-release price to the end of the release month.

Doctor Who - Subscriber Short Trips

Anyone who has subscribed to main range Doctor Who stories since November 2009 (either at the time, or retrospectively) is eligible for specially-recorded Short Trips stories as downloads. Recently we've filled some gaps in this collection so that there are four per year right up to March this year. If you've bought Main Range subscriptions a while back and not looked through your account on this releases in recent months, it might be worth looking anew...

Toby Hadoke's Who's Round

In 2013 comedian, actor and living cult TV encyclopaedia Toby Hadoke started on a mission to track down people associated with every one of the TV stories from the first 50 years of Doctor Who and get fresh recollections and anecdotes. The result is the range Toby Hadoke's Who's Round, from which (at the time of writing) over 110 MP3 downloads can be downloaded for free, as an exhaustive archive of Doctor Who memories. At present updates are done weekly, and if you subscribe to our Podcast feed via iTunes and other services, you'll get these as they come out. Otherwise just keep an eye on the Podcasts section of our website.

Big Finish For Free

A number of titles on the website are offered for free in the Big Finish for Free range, including free Doctor Who releases such as Living Legend or the first episodes of The Highest Science, The Rani Elite and Masters of Earth, there's the original UNIT story, there are supernatural tales from Dark Shadows and The Confessions of Dorian Gray, right up to date with Deadly Departed, a free episode from the brand new Terrahawks collection.

Big Finish For A Fiver

A few of our ranges have now come down to a lower permanent price, excellent for the curious who want to travel into Big Finish areas that aren't as well visited as our main Doctor Who, Dark Shadows or Blake's 7 ranges: There are the early Gallifrey stories, the entire I, Davros range, Dalek Empire, Doctor Who: Unbound, and many more!

Big Finish - The Hidden Treasures

Quite often at conventions or on social media people say how much they've enjoyed a title that few actually know about. For example, there's Benjamin and Baxter, a conversation with the actors behind Jago and Litefoot; David Tennant in The Adventures of Luther Arkwright, Sylvester McCoy and India Fisher in Fly Me to the Moon, Rob Shearman novels such as Love Songs for the Shy and Cynical or Caustic Comedies, the Drama Showcase range with a number of regarded Doctor Who actors in new guises, Nev Fountain's Mervyn Stone mysteries, not forgetting last year's birthday celebration for Tom Baker at 80, or a whole host of Bernice Summerfield novels, the epic Big Finish Companion hardbacks, or Bernice Summerfield - The Inside Story.
