The Fifth Doctor’s (Peter Davison) next adventure is his biggest yet. Across two box sets, comprising twelve episodes of audio drama, he and his companions – Tegan (Janet Fielding), Nyssa (Sarah Sutton), and Adric (Matthew Waterhouse) – explore the mysterious realm of Morning. 

Here they make new friends, including Dr Kessica Myles (Celia Imrie, known for Better Things and Doctor Who: The Bells of St John) and the buccaneer Davlin Crux (Kieran Bew – House of the Dragon, Doctor Who: Oxygen). But they also encounter dark forces, and must set off on a quest to save the universe. 

With the epic saga scripted in its entirety by Tim Foley, Hooklight Part One is due for release in April, to be followed in May by Part Two. By this second half of the story, the time travellers have been separated, the dark forces are closing in, and the Oracle is watching, putting their own plans into action…

The guest cast of Hooklight Part Two includes Alan Cox as the Halcyons, Shogo Miyakita as Oskar, David Holt as the Robots, Issy Van Randwyck as Merla, Theo Solomon as Triss, David Shaw-Parker as Soothsayer, and Harriet Kershaw as Galieth.

Hooklight has been a big and challenging experiment, but one that’s hugely rewarding.”
