Irwin Allen's The Time Tunnel The 1960s TV series followed scientists Doug Phillips and Anthony Newman who were trapped in the time tunnel in 1968. Big Finish are now continuing the story, set in the present day, as four people are brought together in secret to reactivate the time tunnel and search for the missing scientists. Blake's 7 - Avon: A Terrible Aspect Paul Darrow's first Blake's 7 novel was written in 1989 as a prequel to the TV series. Paul described it as "...a straightforward, fast-moving story of the origins of Kerr Avon."
