“We never got to explore this side of Danny’s character in The Impossible Planet (he did spend much of it crawling for his life) but here he’s trying to devise a whole new field of ethics on a ship that’s sinking into lava.”
Ronny Jhutti said: “It was lovely to be asked [to return to Torchwood] and exciting to do because Danny takes a central role. He's exactly the same – panicking and worrying as the ethics adviser on a team that ostensibly goes through what Danny's team went through on TV. It echoes the dramatic construction of that story wonderfully.”
