Big Finish’s horror-tastic audio series Vam PD caused a stir among the underworld this Halloween with the release of Volume 1.

This next set of full-cast audio episodes continues the story of vampire cops Catrin (Juliet Landau) and Magnus (Alimi Ballard), as well as their human liaison Jane (Mara Wilson) and her colleague Orhan (Warren Brown). 

This time around, the team encounter renegade vampire cleaners, a man investigates the shady deal between vampires and government, and a reality TV show offers the ultimate prize – immortality.

Actor Juliet Landau said: “After the big reveal at the end of Volume 1, I had no idea what to expect. There had never been a letdown, so I knew it was going to be fantastic – each script is a page-turner. 

“When I got to the end of each episode, I couldn't wait to start the next one. Hopefully fans will feel the same way, and I was shocked when I read the ending of Volume 2. I can't wait for listeners to get to that part!” 

Director Ursula Burton added: “I was really drawn to these scripts because of their complexity. The characters are unique. It’s really different from other things Big Finish has done. It has vampires, but it has a lot of heart. 

“A lot was revealed at the end of Volume 1. And now in Volume 2, we’re going to get to see these people having some separate adventures. Each of the characters has a specific adventure that they go on, and Magnus is really struggling with what he’s learned, both personally and morally, and trying to change his behaviour.”
