Chris Dale said: "This has always been one of my favorite Captain Scarlet stories. The scale is grand and epic. There's so much at stake. It's been great to take this favorite story of mine from childhood and expand on and explore the narrative to create this very special audiobook."
Dale also highlighted the exceptional performance of Wayne Forester, who breathes life into the characters with his unique interpretations, making the narration and character voices a thrilling experience.
The production not only aims to pay homage to the original comic strip, but also to expand the narrative by spending more time with guest characters and settings. Additionally, it includes nods to other Anderson series, most notably Thunderbirds and Fireball XL5, which have always been preserved from the original narrative in the 1960s comic story from which Martian Menace was adapted.
This audiobook marks a new style of Anderson audios, where Forester takes the helm, providing both the narration and all character voices. It is a testament to the evolving landscape of audiobook production, and the interest from fans worldwide.
Embark on an epic journey with Captain Scarlet in Captain Scarlet: Martian Menace. Available to download now, it promises to be an unforgettable audio experience for both new and dedicated fans alike.
