From January next year, we'll be joining in the Doctor Who 50th anniversary celebrations with a gorgeous new look for our titles.

Today sees the release of Doctor Who: 1001 Nights and this year's bonus CD (for subscribers only), Doctor Who: Night of the Stormcrow.

Following on from the recent release of Legion, Big Finish is pleased to announce details for its next Bernice Summerfield box set - New Frontiers. Bernice Summerfield first appeared in the Doctor Who Virgin New Adventures novels, and now leads her own spin-off range.

In November 2013, Big Finish will be releasing Doctor Who: The Light at the End, a very special 100-minute story to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of Doctor Who. Tom Baker (1974-81), Peter Davison (1982-84), Colin Baker (1984-86), Sylvester McCoy (1987-89) and Paul McGann (1996) will all reprise their roles as, respectively, the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Doctors, whose paths suddenly intersect when they face imminent destruction.

Stephen Thorne is returning as the Kastrian renegade Eldrad, a role he last played in the 1976 story The Hand of Fear, in a new adventure from Big Finish Productions. This time the Fifth Doctor and his companions Tegan, Turlough and Nyssa will be taking on the silicon-based psychopath.

To tie in with Doctor Who’s Fiftieth Anniversary, the November main range release for 2013 will be a celebratory reunion for the Seventh Doctor, his companion Ace and the members of the Counter-Measures team.
