The May Doctor Who releases are now available for download in mp3 or audiobook formats; that's The Lady of Mercia, The Apocalypse Mirror and Phantoms of the Deep, telling tales of the Fifth, Second and Fourth Doctors respectively.

New details have emerged about The Light at the End, the two-hour full cast audio drama from Big Finish that will celebrate fifty years of Doctor Who. Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann will be together playing the Doctor, and are accompanied by companions Louise Jameson as Leela, Sarah Sutton as Nyssa, Nicola Bryant as Peri, Sophie Aldred as Ace and India Fisher as Charley. Flying the flag for the forces of evil is Geoffrey Beevers as The Master, who has devised his most cunning plan yet.

Big Finish is delighted to announce that its licence with AudioGO to make Doctor Who on audio has been extended up to December 2015.

“I’m so excited that we can continue our voyages with the Doctor for at least another three years,” says Big Finish executive producer Jason Haigh-Ellery, “and so pleased that AudioGO and the BBC continue to trust us with the telling of these stories.”

The Lost Stories, Big Finish’s audio productions of stories that were devised for television but never made, will return in 2013 for a fourth and final season.

Out now is the latest in our Doctor Who: The Lost Stories range: The First Sontarans, but you can hear episode one for free right now by downloading or streaming our new podcast!

On June 17, 18 and 19 a trio of stories featuring the Celestial Toymaker will be available on special offer.
